Riser Recliner Chair
At the end of a long day, there’s no better feeling than sitting down in your favourite chair and reclining back, with total relaxation. You get comfy but then, inevitably, you need to get up and see to something. If you suffer from back pains, arthritis or simply don’t have the strength to get up any more, this can be a very tricky and painful situation. But now there’s a way to do this quickly and easily – a Riser Recliner.
Riser Recliners are great because they are essentially reclining relaxer chairs, just with an added bonus. Unless you own one yourself, it’s difficult to tell a riser recliner from a normal chair. This means you get the total comfort expected of a relaxer chair; the kind of comfort that makes you never want to get up. There is no loss of quality on riser recliners, in fact most comfort chair manufacturers make riser versions of their chairs, for example Lazy Boy.
The chairs are operated by small motors which power a piston at the rear of the chair, allowing it to move up or down. It is possible to change the speed of the mechanics, depending on how fast you want the chair to move. If you find it difficult to move due to things like back pain, it is advisable to have a slower, more controlled chair movement. This will minimise potential pain occurring in tender areas.
Leather riser recliner chairs are mostly at the top end of the price range. These look great in pretty much all rooms, regardless of room design or furniture. There is something about a black leather chair that makes a room inviting and friendly. Furthermore, there are few chairs that can match the sheer comfort of leather.
