Your home should be the ultimate stress-free environment. After the tribulations of the day, you should be able to come home and release all of that tension in a way that suits you. For many, this means taking a long bath, and letting your cares simply melt away luxuriantly.

True, some people prefer showers to baths, however for others the bath is the second most important feature in the bathroom, and without one things just wouldn’t be quite right.

A bath is a large feature, and bathrooms are usually relatively small. Any bath that you do incorporate into the setting will dramatically affect the look of the space. You should choose your bath carefully then, as it will determine the aesthetic of your bathroom.

When choosing  a bath, there are several things to consider. Most importantly the size, and you should work within the proportions of your space, so if you have limited space opt for a space saving corner bath for example.

Material is also important. Acrylic is commonly used, as it is relatively inexpensive and easily cleaned, installed etc. It can also work perfectly in a modern setting and is available in a range of styles and colours.

Beyond the practical, the style of your bath is also important. Bath-styles can vary considerably, and so you will want to choose bath that corresponds to the particulars of your specific space. However, for those wishing to “relax in style” you can’t go wrong with a roll-top bath.
